Identifying your character strengths is the first step
in exploring your path to personal greatness.
The Muhammad Ali Center has joined with the Values in Action
Institute* to bring you the latest approach to identifying your
character strengths. In striving to help everyone reach their greatest potential,
the Ali Center invites you to learn more about yourself
and to apply your signature character strengths to achieving
your goals and finding the greatness within yourself. The VIA Strengths
Survey gives you the remarkable opportunity to identify
your character strengths and apply them in your everyday lives.

The VIA* Inventory of Strengths is a self-report questionnaire
that uses a 5-point scale to measure the degree to which respondents
endorse each of the 24 strengths of character in the VIA Classification.
A report is immediately generated indicating your top five strengths,
a description of each, and normative percentile scores. The
VIA Inventory of Strengths offers free surveys for both adults and
youth (the choice is offered after you register). The
survey correlates with measures of subjective well-being and
happiness.
