Public Plaza

A vibrant, dynamic new urban space in downtown Louisville, the Plaza provides a wonderful community gathering place and a gracious entrance to the Ali Center.

The Plaza’s two levels include a relaxing water wall and quiet reflecting pool on the upper level and a beautiful sculptural glass fountain on the lower level.  The two areas are connected by amphitheater-style seating – a great venue for outdoor events.  The Plaza’s design is both thought-provoking and purposeful.  The water that flows from the upper level through the amphitheater to the lower level - gaining speed and energy as it goes - symbolizes the cumulative force of Muhammad Ali’s influence, from the individuals he has touched to the world at large.

Jarfi's Café 

Visitors can enjoy great food in great company at Jarfi's Café in the Ali Center.  The café serves a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups and more in a warm community atmosphere.
