Tibetan Oracle Speaks on Global Warming and Personal Responsibility at the Ali Center
A special presentation by The Medium of Tibet’s Chief State Oracle, Venerable Thupten Ngodup (“Nechung Kuten”), filled View Pointe Hall to capacity drawing a crowd of around 600 guests on Thursday, July 10. He shared his views on global warming and personal responsibility during a 2 ½ hour presentation and then answered questions from the audience. He also provided the audience a brief overview of Tibetan culture and in particular, information on oracles and his own experience as a Medium.
Before the event began, the Medium took a private tour of the Ali Center’s 2 ½ levels of exhibits. Through his translator, he said he has admired Muhammad his whole life and expressed appreciation for the six values of Muhammad’s life conveyed in the visitor experience (i.e. respect, confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, and spirituality).
The Medium of Tibet’s Chief State Oracle’s visit to the United States is part of an 11-city tour this summer to offer insights and directions on individual responsibility in the world. He is delivering lectures andconducting open dialogues with audiences across the U.S. from June 15 toAugust 8, 2007. For more information, go to www.tibetanoracle.org.
