Ali Receives Prestigious Bambi Award

November 28, 2003 (Hamburg, Germany) - The Bambis are one of Germany's most prestigious awards, covering everything from sports and pop to politics and economy.  In a touching and sometimes tearful moment for the star-studded audience, Muhammad Ali appeared onstage to accept a Bambi Lifetime Achievement Award in Hamburg, Germany yesterday. He accepted the award - with his wife Lonnie - from English actress and supermodel Elizabeth Hurley, who gave him a tribute speech in German. The Bambis are the oldest media award in the country (fifty-five years).
