Endowment
Help us plan for the future by providing a gift to our general endowment fund or education fund. An endowment gift is secured in an account while the earnings are used to support our educational and public programs and general operating expenses for future generations of visitors. Our education fund provides transportation, admission and programming for educational student tours. Tribute and Memorial Gifts
Honor a friend or loved one by making a special donation to the Ali Center. When you make a donation in the name of an individual or family, a personalized card of acknowledgement will be sent to the designated honoree. Matching Gifts
Many companies support the generosity of their employees by matching their charitable contribution. What a great way to double your support! Depending upon your employer’s policy, matching gifts can typically be arranged in one of the following ways:

Obtain a matching gift form from your company and send it to the Ali Center along with your gift.
Provide your company with a receipt/acknowledgement of the gift made to the Ali Center.
Utilize the matching gift services provided on your company’s website.

Planned Giving
This type of giving is designed for benefactors who wish to donate large gifts that require an additional amount of planning such as bequests, retirement plans, life insurance, stocks, trusts, and estates. Please e-mail or call (502) 992-5334 to make arrangements for more information.

Gifts of Stock
A charitable gift of stock provides an opportunity for tax savings while generously supporting the Ali Center. A gift of stock owned for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at the time the gift is made. If the stock has appreciated, you also avoid a capital gains tax on the appreciation in value. Please contact your investment advisor for more information.

In-Kind Donations
In-kind giving refers to contributions of goods and services that are of value to a non-profit organization. Here are a few items we are in need of: high quality digital video camera, high quality digital camera, digital camera rechargeable batteries and storage cards, classroom supplies (markers, crayons, construction paper, pencils, pens, scissors, glue sticks, etc.), ink pads in blue, black, red, green (used for kids activities such as hand stamps), posterboard, book cases, television, DVD player.
