Help your students to find greatness within by scheduling a field trip at the Muhammad Ali Center.  All of our educational programming addresses core content areas and ties into state teaching standards. 

Student Group Tours Include:

  • Our inspiring five-screen Orientation Theater film “If You Can Dream.”
  • 2 ½ levels of interactive exhibits and multimedia presentations including historic Civil Rights era media footage, an interactive timeline of Ali’s life, hands-on boxing fun, video of Ali fights, children’s Hope and Dream Wall, and more.
  • Thematic educational programming with an Ali Center educator or self-guided programming (a great option for large groups of 50+ and/or time-crunched teachers).  Click here to review the list of programs and downloadable curriculum.
  • Pre- and post- visit activities that you can use in your classroom to augment your visit. 


Student Group Tour Costs:

$4.00 per student (K-12)

Adult chaperones will be admitted free at the ratio of one adult per 10 students (which is our required ratio).  Additional chaperones are welcome, but will be charged our group rate of $7.00 per person.

Important Information You Need to Know…

  • Tours are recommended for students at the intermediate level (grade 4) and above. (Teachers with younger students, click here to learn about our outreach programs for Pre-K to 3rd grade.)

  • We suggest that you allow one-and-a-half to two hours for your visit.

  • Teachers, please read the Helpful Hints for Teachers and Chaperones and share with your other chaperones before your visit.  Helping chaperones know what to expect can greatly enhance the students’ experience at the Ali Center
  • The Ali Center welcomes home school groups.   If you are a parent who is interested in bringing your students, please read our  home school information for helpful tips you should know before you book your field trip. 
  • If you chose to do a self-guided tour, please print all materials before you arrive.  If you need us to print the materials for you, please contact us at least three days prior to your visit to make arrangements for us to do so.
